The lighter color is Aspen Wood; the darker color is Oak Wood
Aspen is in Examples: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 13, 15, 17 and 18
Oak is used in Examples: 3, 8, 11, 12, 14, 16, 19 and 20
(the difference in some examples are different types of stain that was used, some are red, some are dark, etc...you can request).
Example 7 and 15 are both Aspen; difference is the stain is extended over entire surface of plaque, not just engraving. You can request any way you would like.
